Amateur competition adds a day to format |
The Curtis Cup, the women's team amateur golf competition between the United States and Britain and Ireland, is changing format.
The biennial event will be played over three days, instead of two, beginning in 2008 at the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland.
In announcing the change Friday, the British-based Ladies' Golf Union said the new format would feature three foursomes (alternate shot) and three fourball (better ball) matches over the first two days. Read more at: . |
