Phillip Archer shot a 9-under 63 on Thursday to take a three-stroke lead in the first round of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship. The Englishman, who had 10 birdies and a bogey, was one shot off the course record at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club. He had two birdie putts from 30 feet.
