Beem Up 258 Spots in '02 World Golf Rankings (TheGolfChannel.com) |
Rich Beem captured his first major title Sunday at the PGA Championship and with the win moved up 47 places in this week's World Golf Rankings. Beem jumped from 73rd last week to No. 26 as he held on to defeat Tiger Woods at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Beem, who got into the PGA Championship field with a win two weeks ago at The International, has moved up 258 positions in 2002.
