Donald surges to lead at Sony |
Michelle Wie had to scramble on the back nine of the Sony Open to shoot even par and avoid finishing with the worst round of her career. Still, Wie hit into the water twice, the bunker twice, clipped two palm trees and didn't hit a fairway until the 15th hole to finish with an 8-over 78 in the opening round Thursday.
