Els needs late charge to make cut |
Charl Schwartzel took a two-stroke lead at the Alfred Dunhill Championship on Friday in his attempt on a second title in three years.
Schwartzel his a second-round 4-under 68 at the ?1-million European Tour event being played at the par-72, 6,631-meter (7,672-yard) Leopard Creek Country Club. He was 8-under overall.
While Schwartzel shot seven birdies and three bogeys, Ernie Els was struggling to make the cut set at 2-under.
