Garcia shares lead at midway point |
Sergio Garcia shot a 5-under-par 67 Friday to move into a three-way tie for the lead at the Taiheiyo Masters.
Garcia carded four birdies before the turn at the Gotemba Course, before adding two more against a lone bogey on No. 17 to move into a tie for first at 9-under 135. Japanese players Katsumasa Miyamoto and Daisuke Maruyama, who both fired second round 64s were also at 9-under.
