Gogel announces his retirement |
Matt Gogel, who won one tournament during his seven-year PGA Tour career, announced Saturday he is retiring next year.
Gogel, 35, won the 2002 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and also finished second to Tiger Woods in the 2000 event. But he finished out of the top 125 for the first time in 2006, making the cut in only three of 14 PGA Tour events. He finished 214th on the money list with $108,230.
