Ryder Cup captain spins Bjorn outburst as positive |
European captain Ian Woosnam believes Thomas Bjorn's criticism of his Ryder Cup picks will make his team stronger.
After Woosnam overlooked the Dane to select Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood as his captain's picks, Bjorn described the Welshman's captaincy as "pathetic." He was fined by the European Tour and has since apologized, but Woosnam believes that Bjorn's outburst on Sunday will help the team.
